My husband & I had American Eagle Builders come out for estimates on a patio cover, attic insulation and a new sliding glass door. The nice lady said the owner would come out himself to do the estimates...That didn't happen, but the guy they sent was professional & gave a decent price on the door & insulation. He said someone would call & give the estimate for the patio cover per his measurements. The guys who put the insulation in were on time & did a good job. I was concerned a bit though that they only "blow insulation" and don't prep or seal anything in the attic, which I thought was the 1st step of attic insulation. They did put safety barriers around all the recessed lighting though)... The next job was the sliding glass door, which had been delayed due to the TX freeze. The two guys show up on time, professional & install the door just fine & it looks nice. We found very shortly afterwards there was an issue with it sliding properly & the screen not locking & they have since sent someone out to fix that. I can now say the door looks & works great! Also, I can definitely feel the difference in temperature comfort within the house, & look forward to the energy savings.
AEB offered me Simonton windows which was the brand I wanted. Dennis came out to give me and my wife the usual window demonstration, but I wound up liking him better than the other guys since he didn't bury us in demonstrations that we already knew. Just gave us some pictures and some overall energy savings that we would get. Overall, we really liked him and at the end of the presentation, he gave me a good offer so we signed the contract right there.

American Eagle Builders are very professional and very tidy. They installed 19 windows and 2 patio doors over the course of two days and it was a very pain free experience. These energy efficient windows and doors are already starting to show a retun on investment with our utility bill savings. We've used 100Kw less electricity this week than the previous two weeks before installation and it's actually 10° hotter this week! These windows and doors are the best investment we have made for our home to date and they also give the house more curb appeal.

I was so concerned about how the new windows were going to replace the old ones. But when the men got here, they made me feel assured that everything was going to work out. And it did, they were great, covered everything and cleaned it all up. Then they even put my things back on the shelves. I never expected that.
